Special Notices

SPINNAKER PRAYER WEEK 2010 takes place from Saturday, April 24th to Sunday, May 2nd. There will be a PRAYER EVENT on Monday, April 25th at 7.30pm at the John Wesley School, in Wesley School Road, Singleton, to pray specifically for schools in the Ashford area.

THE SOURCE – Open to God 6.30pm Sunday, May 2nd – the first day of our week’s focus at The Source – the church family of WBC meeting together to focus on God and to listen to him. There is a box in the vestibule for any written feedback during or following our week of spiritual focus. Items can also be e-mailed to the-source@wbc-ashford.org.uk

WOW! Ladies Breakfast – 8.00am Saturday, May 8th. We will celebrate together as we say “Thank you, God” for his goodness and His love.  After breakfast there will be opportunity to encourage each other and share our own experiences of God’s love. Sign the notice board if you wish to attend. See Sue Milborrow for further details.

ASHFORD STREET PASTORS – THE LAUNCH We will be officially launching Ashford Street Pastors on Tuesday 18th May at 7.30pm at WBC. This is the best opportunity for you and others you know to hear about the project and what role you might play: as a Street Pastor, one of the prayer team, or in simply offering gifts, skills and contact. Further details are on the notice board or e-mail ashford@streetpastors.org.uk

HEAL OUR LAND CHOIR – We have been having a great time at choir for “Heal Our Land” under Tim Wilson’s excellent leadership. It’s still not too late to join; potentially we have 52 women but only 6 men, so we need more men!! If more women would like to come, we would love to have them too. There are two more rehearsals – May 10th and 17th at ACF at 7.30pm and then the event on May 22nd.

FREE TO A GOOD HOME – High School Musical octagonal TRAMPOLINE (for use probably age 5 and above) hardly been used but slightly weathered. Please contact Jill Goldsmith.
