A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – Our BARBECUE & FAMILY FUN DAY is on July 4th at Sandyacres in Sandyhurst Lane. Further details to follow.

THE SOURCE – Open to God 6.30pm Sunday, May 2nd – the first day of our week’s focus at The Source – the church family of WBC meeting together to focus on God and to listen to him. There is a box in the vestibule for any written feedback during or following our week of spiritual focus. Items can also be e-mailed to the-source@wbc-ashford.org.uk

WORLD FAIR TRADE DAY is on Saturday, May 8th. To mark this day the Fair Trade Shop at 88 The Street, Kennington is offering 20% discount on all food and craft sold from Thursday 6th May until Saturday, 8th May inclusive. The shop is open from 9.30am – 5.30pm, and until 8.00pm on Thursdays.

WOW! Ladies Breakfast – 8.00am Saturday, May 8th . We will celebrate together as we say “Thank you, God” for his goodness and his love.  After breakfast there will be opportunity to encourage each other and share our own experiences of God’s love. Sign the sheet on the notice board if you wish to attend. See Sue Milborrow for further details.

ASHFORD STREET PASTORS – THE LAUNCH – We will be officially launching Ashford Street Pastors on Tuesday 18th May at 7.30pm at WBC. This is the best opportunity for you and others you know to hear about the project and what role you might play; as a Street Pastor, one of the prayer team or in simply offering gifts, skills and contact. HEAL OUR LAND CHOIR – We have been having a great time at choir for “Heal Our Land” under Tim Wilson’s excellent leadership. It’s still not too late to join; potentially we have 52 women but only 6 men, so we need more men!! If more women would like to come, we would love to have them too. There are two more rehearsals – May 10th and 17th at ACF at 7.30pm and then the event on May 22nd.
