Tickets will soon be available for Songs of Praise “THE BIG SING” at the Royal Albert Hall in September. Please see Jane (Shephard) if you are interested in going this year, as she will find it helpful to have an idea of the number of tickets to order.

CONGRATULATIONS to Richard & Cindy Buxton on the birth of a son on Monday, May 24th, weighing 9lbs. 8ozs.

THE SOURCE – Open to God 6.30pm Sunday May 30th – the first day of our week’s focus at The Source – the church family of WBC meeting together to focus on God and to listen to him. There is a box in the vestibule for any written feedback during or following our week of spiritual focus. Items can also be e-mailed to the-source@wbc-ashford.org.uk

The next FOOTPRINTS WALK is on Saturday, June 12th starting at 1.00pm from the church, heading for Victoria Park. More details to follow or see Kevin or Caroline Old.

Ladies! You are invited to the WOW! Ladies’ Day – “A Lasting Makeover” – on Saturday, June 19th at WBC. We will be taking a look at some of the spiritual disciplines in a simple, accessible way, and there will be plenty of opportunity for relaxing, having fun together and catching up with one another, or simply taking “time out” with God – the choice will be yours. See notice board for details and sign up list.

The next CHURCH MEETING for members is on Tuesday, June 22nd.

A  date for your diary – our BARBECUE & WILLESBOROUGH COMMUNITY FUN DAY is on July 4th at Sandyacres in Sandyhurst Lane. Further details to follow.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP – If anyone is interested in becoming a member and would like to know more, please see Alan or one of the Elders.

TOM LAWRIE will be doing a ten hour drumming marathon here next Saturday to raise money and awareness for a volunteer trip to Ghana, where he will be working in prisons and hospitals to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS, counsel those already afflicted with the disease and be travelling out to more rural parts of the country to promote preventative measures. He'll be out there for three months from 13th June to the 13th September.
